Welcome Reza! I think you are in the right place. I am looking forward to exchanging art too. Maybe you will be in the upcoming swap? What kind(s) of art do you make?

Hi Trace! Yeah this is a great place to mingle with likeminded crowd. The concept of swapping artworks is truly a novelty that I hope might catch on in Malaysia too. Right now Im immersing myself into everything that's culturally native to my homeland. I did this artwork of a wayang kulit(shadow puppet) with a little twist. I cant tell you how exactly it looks like. Suffice to say- its totally wicked( at least thats what I think!) What kind of art do you make?

        Hi Reza,

Sorry so long in responding. My main mediums are painting, sculpture (steel + gathered objects, gourds, etc.), and lately, design by computer.

Coincidentally, I have been working on puppets too (and likewise, I don't want to spoil the surprise by revealing too much).

Congratulations on exploring your homeland and your cultural roots through your work. I wish I could be so proud. In some ways I think my work is involved in trying to create an "otherworldly reality" so I can (hopefully) ignore or improve upon what I perceive as the dominant consumerist culture of my homeland.
